Up the Wall Picture Framing

When Jenny Hoke Photography took pictures of our kids in October '10, it was right before our daughter Maycen turned 2.  These were our first professional pictures of our kids so, of course, we had to give them as gifts to the grandparents for Christmas!  It was very hard not commenting on them in her blog!   I knew that if I did, my parents and Josh's parents would see them and I really wanted it to be a surprise!   So, finally (hehe), here is one that I put together for Josh's mom and dad. We wanted to frame it to go on Carolyn's wall full of pictures of her 5 grandkids.   I chose a neutral top mat and burgundy for the inner mat that matched the paint and decor in her living room.  The frame is a metal that has a matte black finish with a reddish tint underneath that shows through, giving it an aged look.  It is a gorgeous frame and the whole piece turned out amazing!
